Each senior associate brings:

 

John Ruzicka

Mr. Ruzicka’s 20-year career has spanned multiple business, technology and quantitative areas in Capital Markets trading in the Chicago, New York, London and the Asia Pacific Rim. This has included such firms as Bear Stearns, Susquehanna International Group, Standard Chartered Bank, LCH-Clearnet, LIFFE, SunGard, Fidelity Investments, CIBC Global Markets, Bank of Montreal and JP Morgan with many of these as consulting clients over the past 15 years. John Ruzicka has experience across all asset classes with a concentration in Equities and Structured Products.

John Ruzicka has an M.S. in Mathematics from The Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences and a B.S. in Mathematics from Villanova University.

 

 

Brian Clayton

Mr. Clayton has over 25 years of experience in architecting, developing and supporting enterprise wide applications in financial services.

Previously in a six year tenure as CIO-NA for Asset Management within SunGard Investment Systems was responsible for rebuilding and running Technical Support and Operations for Investment Accounting and Transfer Agency. He spent several decades in Capital Markets and trading at Bear Stearns as Senior Managing Director and with Stafford Trading.

Brian Clayton is a graduate of Purdue University with a BS degree in Industrial Management/Computer Science.

 

John Tomaselli

Since entering the information technology world in 1980, Mr. Tomaselli has been on a 30+ year development odyssey, constantly keeping up with industry changes. To this day, his group offers comprehensive software solutions capable of integrating all aspects of a company’s work flow. John has also served as the director of development for Connexin Software; a medical software company, helping them achieve steady growth and win competitions.

Starting with the Pick variation Prime Information Systems John formed a partnership with three other programmers to create Reliance Systems, a New York based database consulting firm. In 1993 he founded Greater Than Zero, Inc. a company dedicated to providing custom programming for small businesses. Initially, programming was done in MSAccess but as client’s needs grew John migrated to Delphi, C Sharp and Interbase/Firebird. A good deal of the past 15 years has been spent developing Delphi/Firebird SQL client/server apps along with asp.net.

Since recognizing the advantages of AngularJS (even before it’s first birthday) and realizing the importance of JavaScript, John has changed his stack. To introduce his AngularJS applications, he has presented many lightning demos at Angular meetups at Google’s NYC headquarters . The full stack development is now done with Mongodb, Express, Angular, Node, Sails, Bootstrap, PhoneGap and Ionic.

 

Adrian Begley

Mr. Begley has 20 years of management consulting, technology consulting and product development/ marketing of Capital Markets trading technology for such firms as Reuters, Fidessa and SunGard. Most of this work has centered around order management system and execution management system functionality for NA and European trading desks. Adrian Begley has spent several years as a Director in the Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets with a primary responsibility of implementing a new order management system and adding CRM technology. He has continued in the last several years in consulting engagements with banks such as JP Morgan Private Bank and in developing trading desk applications.

Adrian Begley holds a B.Sc in Computer Engineering from University of Salford. This was followed by several years of initial professional work in UK defense contracting.

 

 

Leon Stankowski

Mr. Stankowski became a technologist and taught computer classes while attending Hunter College High School.  In a 25-year career he has built a proven track record of creating technology that capitalizes on business opportunities.  

Within Capital Markets trading Leon Stankowski has built customer facing, high volume, high availability systems.  He is credited with creating ground breaking algo, high frequency, black box trading systems, a high frequency order management system, portfolio execution systems and a WiFi tablet execution management system.  

Beyond Capital Markets Leon Stankowski built the ForMyCause's social charitable cause system designed for very large volumes and the Giving Capital's charitable gift system. The latter was one of the few third party systems approved to interface directly with major banks and American Express's wealth management systems.  His technology powers TableBrain's online poker games licensed by notable casinos like Party Poker and his startup, Mobomia, creates mobile applications for notable corporations and fun toys.

 

Paul Hattori

Mr. Hattori’s 20-year career as a financial engineer has focused on credit derivatives and structured products with a broader venue in foreign exchange, interest rate and equity derivatives and tax driven structures.  In London he created and managed credit derivatives business units at Dresdner Bank, KBC Bank and Chase Bank.  He has served on the UK Joint Supervisory Committee on credit derivatives and participated in the first ISDA working group to standardize credit derivatives documentation.

In his consulting career Paul Hattori has provided expert advisory and witness services in commercial and regulatory matters in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Seoul, primarily relating to credit linked notes, equity structures and collateralized debt obligations.  His consulting extends to advising a major private equity firm on acquisition of European banks and structuring of life risks for a European insurer.

Mr. Hattori is a Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and completed US bank credit training.  He is a member of the Securities Institute examining panel for the Financial Derivatives diploma.
